Many thanks to Mark and Ella for allowing us to take over the restaurant yesterday lunchtime for 32 people for Jon's birthday. Everything about it was superb - we even had the Thai menu which is not normally offered on a Saturday lunchtime. Lovely food and lots of it - nothing was too much trouble. Mark even agreed to keep the pub open in the afternoon for the rugby! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and all our local friends will be back. x

Had a very nice evening at The Crown and Thistle last night. Although the staff were very busy we did not have to wait long for our food to be served by a very pleasant young lady.The food was hot and delicious and we would highly recommend anyone who enjoys Thai food to give the Crown and Thistle a visit.

I had yet another amazing meal tonight which was Sea Bass! It was so tasty and flavoursome. The food is lovely and hot and always well presented. We are so lucky to have such a great pub in the village. The pub is such a success I would recommend you book ahead as word has got around how good it is! Well done all of you!
