Lovely little village pub with a charming garden and lots of seating. I think our waitress was new as she seemed quite confused about everything but very sweet. The seafood salad was terrible. Very watery and tasteless apart from the sauce which was vile and tasted like it was a really old bottled sauce that had gone off. I mentioned it to another waitress who was lovely and really wanted to resolve it
This is a lovely village pub. The staff I met (2 ladies) were extremely nice. Happy and helpful.
The beer taps were down the day we were there. But it was fixed by the time we left. We had other drinks, which wasn't a problem..the lay out of the pub is spacious. There's an extension on the back. Glass sides hard roof and easy ramp for wheel chairs.
The garden was simple. Lots of bench sitting with umbrellas. I had the owner place more flowers and deco. The only downside I saw for families is that there's no kids area. So bring something for them to do.
Now the food. I had the tempura shrimp. Order can be purchased in two sizes. Plus , loaded fries . Nice, . but I would like my fries cooked a little more. Other food purchased were a steak and mushroom Baguette and a Blt. Again, simple food but good. If I lived in the village, it would be a great local pub
Beautiful country pub with fantastic food and cheerful attitude from the staff.
My son, who at the age between childrens and adults meals, was very impressed with the size and quality of the kid's meal.
Unfortunately, the foul language and cigarette smoke wafting to our table from outside did ruin it a little bit.
