Very pleasant. Went at midday on a Saturday so it was quite quiet as they had just opened.
I ordered the mixed grill, it was pretty decent.
Not a massive fan of the chicken wings but the steak, gammon and sausage were good.
£2.50 for a tiny pot of peppercorn sauce was a bit excessive, but overall the meal was good value.
Nice large beer garden and plenty of seating indoors. Seems like it would be a good place for a Friday or Saturday night drink.
Absolutely love the Ship, the staff in there are always so kind and patient.
My mum and I often meet for a little lunch, and they're so accommodating.
We've eaten quite a few things from the menu, from their burgers to their roasts, soups, loaded fries.... everything has always been fresh and delicious.
Great pub, look forward each visit!
Sunday lunch, and it wasn't busy. Food was ok, with a group, some said meat was tough. Roasties looked and tasted like Aunt Bessie's. Presented fine, and service was good, but, it wasn't busy. People were in the garden drinking, and there was plenty of room to sit outside and have a drink after meal.
Thanks for response.
