This place deserves all the support needed as they together with lots more businesses have suffered terribly since the dreadful flooding in December. The food is second to none and the welcome you get is so warm. My Wife and I ride our motorcycle to Grasmere quite regularly and always make a bee line for Goody Blake's restaurant. The restaurant is tucked away at the back of the gift shop with the Sheep stood on the wall outside. We can recommend their Leek, potato and pepper soup and Coronation chicken sandwich. My Wife had Cheese and Pickle sandwich with her soup. Highly recommend.

Amazing food, amazing staff and equally amazing chef!! This is a hidden gem in the Village of Grasmere and really is worth the visit. You are made welcome the second you walk in the door by friendly staff. We found you on Trip Advisor where you have excellent reviews, you will have another one soon. We visited you on two evenings as the service we received the first night was fantastic and the food also fantastic. Thank you from the both of us helping us celebrate our anniversary with some outstanding food! We will be back when we are in the area again! I didn't expect to much but hoped for the world, garlic mushrooms with bacon on toasted bread was beautiful followed by the Beef Stroganoff which was superb. World delivered. If your in Grassmere I would heartily recommend a meal here and the staff are friendly too.
