We went passed the café on our cycled ride but didn't actually stop because we had our own lunch with us.
The café is in an extremely picturesque part of Borrowdale and I imagine the menu and service are equally enjoyable. Now we know it is there, it's on our list to visit.

Fully enjoyed this cafe. The parsnip soup with cheese scone was exceptionally good. The coffees also very good quality too. The gingerbread and ice cream were similarly exceptional. Combined with such a beautiful setting and ample outdoor seating on picnic tables this is a must see place in Grange. Try it.

Nice spot to grab a bite to eat en-route to or on the way back from Castle Cragg. Sat outside by the river which where there are a number of picnic benches. Very limited parking nearby so likely to struggle if visiting by car. Had a cheese toasty, fruit scone and a very nice chocolate milkshake.
