What a gem! We were pleasantly surprised to find this cafe open on a bank holiday Monday. Breakfast menu is delightful; we had avocado & poach egg on sourdough toast, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs on toast and we shared a plate of English breakfast between our 2 children. All food looked and tasted very good! Staff were lovely and food arrived quickly even though the place was fairly full. Very good, quality coffee as well and lots of homemade cakes and muffins, sausage rolls and scotch eggs. Not to mention it's set next to a wild flower meadow with beautiful views. Thoroughly recommend.

Have now visited twice as found out they stock a favourite cheese of mine . First time I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the quality and range of the products stocked ( not the cheapest but you get what you pay for). Last time we had a coffee, bacon sandwich and cake in the cafe on site and couldn't fault the cafe for service quality and layout with beautiful photos on the walls .We will be returning. Recommend.

Great pit stop. Fab farm shop with great produce. Fresh sausage rolls. Salads and sandwiches. Cakes looked good. Good coffee sold from silver airstream. There is a new cafe The Lodge around to the rear. Lots of indoor seating, did not eat there. Loos. The outside seating areas need some TLC. And the 'path' to the Lodge cafe was very rocky and stony.
