I had previously visited this site for a truck wash. It’s a little expensive, but wow, it’s the best truck wash I’ve used, hand washed by brilliant lads, they don’t miss a thing and leave both unit and trailer spotless.
When I went to pay for the wash, I got talking to Samantha. Friendly and talkative, she’s passionate about her site, it’s her baby as she called it. Her staff, Jeanette, Nat, little Jane and big Jane are great. Care about customer satisfaction. Food is really good. Wouldn’t make me an omelette, but I had the scampi and chips, salad, bread and butter and cup of tea. Oh and brownie for pudding. All for about £5. Other food sounds good. Locally sourced food and quick service.
Showers are good. Warm,rainfall showers. Cleaned regularly.
Parking is great. Not really busy, can’t understand why. It’s better than the “other place” near the motorway, it’s on SNAP. No fridges allowed so a good nights sleep with no noise from fridges or the motorway.
Give it a try, it’s places like this that need to survive, because if they are gone, they’re gone for good.
I’ll be here regularly. Love the place. Thanks to all involved.

Very nice place to park, and the truck wash.... the best I know in the area. Sam, Stuart and the staff are the best. Always doing their best to make our stay as good as possible. A big thank you to you all.
Proper Traditional Family run truckstop and cafe. Clean level parking with great facilities. And damn nice people too. Highly recommended 👍
