We popped in to this lovely pub on a rainy post work Friday afternoon. Immediately liked the cosy traditional pub with tankards hanging from the ceiling.
The staff were upbeat and friendly....you just felt comfortable there.
We decided to have food (no photos sorry, we got stuck straight in!)
I had corned beef pie, mash and peas
Hubby had steak an ale pie, chips and peas. Both were fabulous (I think the steak an ale just pipped the c/beef at the post) but both gorgeous.
We left full (with me needing my pj's) and with the intention of definitely going back 😁
With 2 rounds of drinks and a main meal each it was just under £50

It was busy but still service with a smile, the staff were so good. Lovely location near the waterfalls (well half hour walking, but at the beginning of the path's towards the waterfalls) totally enjoyed eating and relaxing here, ALSO FREE PARKING for customers 👍

The best Steak and Ale pie I’ve ever had in my life. This place needs an award for this food, I’ve never had a pie like this in my life. If you come here, try this steak and ale pie, you won’t regret it.
