We finally got around to trying this place today. Have to say we really enjoyed the experience start to finish. The whole look is nice and clean and has an upmarket look for the sector it is in and even the toilets looked nice and fresh, although they had run out of paper towels to dry hands with. We received a warm welcome and had a nice chat with one of the guys.
We decided on ordering burgers and shakes as meals. Shakes arrived first and were fantastic with real flavour showing the fact they use real ingredients and not just syrups. I highly recommend the skittles shake, can’t get enough of that. The burgers turned up shortly after and were beautifully presented on a slate with mini fry baskets for the fries and onion rings. Burgers again had fantastic flavour to them and would recommend trying these. The food and drinks all arrived pretty quickly. Total cost was just under £30 for great quality shakes and a really filling meal for two of us.
The only bits I would say need improve the are:
Shakes came in a plastic takeaway cup. These would be nice in a glass instead. Maybe something like a knickerbocker glory glass.
Onion rings were the cheap ones. Would be nice to have the bigger proper ones you can get in most pubs.
The presentation of menus behind the counter looks amateur and could do with a more professional and upmarket look with better photos of the food being served. This would really help sell the food on offer.
The small menus have a late night kebab shop feel about them and could do with a bit better design to them. Also they lack any offering of a kids menu that I could see.
We asked for sauces and were given big catering style bottles. These would be best either decanted into a ramekin or for them to have smaller brand name sauces available.
The negatives were only small and the overall experience was fantastic. Only a small improvement would make it a 5 star experience. We will definitely be returning to try some of the other bits on offer.
I went here with my partner, I had the Texas bbq 8oz while my partner had the 4oz.
Was greeted when we come in and they was very quick to handle a wasp bothering us and everyone was very polite.
Burgers were great and so were the fries/wedges.
The cheese was very good also.
The meat was a proper patty, or if it was frozen they are very good quality frozen ones!
Wait was probably was around 15 minutes.
I stayed away for a while due to some non appealing things I seen on some social media.. this was all nonsense or probably teething problems.
Overall,
It was clean restaurant.. food was of good quality... friendly staff and not a long wait for a real burger patty, £18 for 2 meals and 2 drinks is good going.
Only way this place could really be better on my visit is if the food was free!
We went for a meal last night on our way home - thought we’d try it as we’d never been before. Don’t get misled by its appearance of a Fast Food restaurant. It’s not!! All food is made individually to order so it’s fresh and cooked perfectly. The burgers are amazing - the chips are lush and the milkshakes looked incredible. I didn’t have a milkshake but definitely will next time. Will 100% be back!!! Don’t go if you’re in a rush - the food takes a while to come but it’s worth the wait.
