Warm and welcoming. Good atmosphere. Wonderful canalside location. Staff are welcoming and attentive. The new owner is always friendly and will quite happily spare 5 minutes if customers are having any issues or wanting to express compliments. Food is reasonably priced and comes with high quality ingredients. Dogs are always welcome both inside and out with water bowls available from behind the bar. Owner has only been there since August time but is gradually making changes and improvements which are improving the place one step at a time - Rome wasn't built in a day after all. Entertainment nights are becoming a regular on a Friday/Saturday and charity nights have also been hosted on occasion.

Friendly staff and locals, great caring staff, really good food and portion size. Oh and the Doom Bar and Poppy ales were well kept and went down a treat!

Just moved to Quedgeley so this was our first visit. Loved the place. Staff were very friendly and the pint of Bob was fantastic. Great atmosphere in what looks to be a popular pub. Stunning views of the canal too. Have yet to try the food but will do so on the next visit. Will definitely be returning.
