Well worth a visit. The burger was very tasty, as were the chips. My wife, who is dairy intolerant, was well catered for. The staff were very attentive and ensured the intolerance was noted to the chefs. She had a burger with a sourdough roll. Great atmosphere with fantastic staff. Very tasty food at a very good price. They also serve Bath Ales Dark Side on draught, which is a huge bonus. Will definitely be returning.
Ssshhh! Please don't tel anyone about this place; I want it to be my secret. On a three-day break in Gloucester, dropped in early Tuesday morning for breakfast & coffee. Pancakes, maple syrup & bacon was lovely, coffee was just superb. They even know how to prepare a proper soy latte (not using sweetened soy milk).
Met up with friends there later, lovely friendly & comfy.
When we needed lunch today, there was only one place to choose. Despite being incredibly busy, and our various dietary quirks, everyone was cheerful and friendly. The food was absolutely first class.
I can't recommend this place highly enough. But like I said, don't tell anyone........
On a Friday evening they were more than happy for us to reserve a table down stairs, when they don't usally allow reservations (after explaining that I use a wheelchair then running the risk of having not the space downstairs to accommodate our group)the variety of food on the menu was fantastic catering for all tastes as well as gf and vegan. The food itself took about 25mins which was made up for by the tasty and well sized portions, all meals and sides for our group were out within a couple of minutes of each other and all requests for condiments met. All staff were friendly and helpful asking after our meals or if we needed anything else. On another point there was plenty of non alcoholic drinks for the driver's in the group to choose from which makes a change from cola or lemonade. Thank you for helping make a birthday get together enjoyable for our whole group
