I pass this pub on a daily basis but have never visited until today. The place is lovely. A very old building with a nice atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place. Food is very reasonably priced.
What a lovely old pub in a fabulous spot, the view from the terrace is fantastic. We visited for lunch and our food was excellent, the fish and chips were delicious, the best I've ever had, home cooked chips and lovely crispy batter. The service was great and the pub was comfortable and welcoming. Very enjoyable thank you.
Food was absolutely brilliant. Staff needed to be slightly more attentive to get a perfect score, but they were pleasant and fairly efficient.
Ginger Beer soft drinks could be better.
Would recommend the Rib eye steak.
