This was the place to eat!!! It was the only place open that we could find along the route to Inverness. And im glad we took the chance to stop in and eat!! Most places are strictly reservations only for some odd reason and I was so thankful they were not!!
The staff were all very kind and courteous! Definitely one of the best places on our list of places we have eaten!!

The inn glows at night like a beacon on the lonely road out of Isle of Skye.
A very large impressive menu.
The grilled mushrooms are juicy and very tasty. Spicy peanut butter sauce is good and warms me up. We ended up dipping everything in it.
Mussels are a little thin and over cooked but can’t complain on a late night dinner.
Baked yoghurt is interesting. Tastes like cheesecake. Not too sweet. The lemony ice cream is also zesty and lovely.
The sirloin steak and lamb chops are beautifully grilled, perfectly medium, tender and juicy. The steak’s mushroom sauce is awesome. The chop has a crispy aromatic fatty cap.
I’m sure the Indian options would be nice too but perhaps next time. (Also intrigued by tikka masala pizza
The portion is decent. Service is prompt. We didn’t stay here because it’s sold out, but it still served as a necessary stop because there is no place for food after leaving the Isle at 8 pm…

How good are the Scottish Highlands? Saw this place on one of the most picturesque drives you could possibly imagine and had to stop. Tried haggis for the first time (incredible) and everybody's food was amazing and well presented. More than decent whisky list, too 😜
