Having travelled 8hrs to get to Scotland and local places shut on a Sunday - We found Jac's cafe open and wandered in all tired. A good review was going to be difficult to get from us this day...
Prices were good, selection was not too little, not too much. They had a good selection of drinks also catering to sugar free types and if course teas/coffees.
I had a tikka chicken wrap which was toasted to perfection, didn't break as eating the ends or pour out sauces. The salad taste was fresh and really felt like home..
It wasn't loud or noisy but it had a good steady income of customers and good conversations vibe.
We both left refreshed, full and happy to have found the place.
Thank you Staff - you were wonderful.
This is a great wee cafe and cheap and cheerful. Every time me and ma wee friend go to forge we go in. Cheese and onion tosties are brilliant the cheese oozes out and u get 3 slices of bacon on a roll no scrimping in this wee cafe. Honestly u have to go in very friendly people
