Had a nice relaxing meal here after a tour of the Scottish Highlands. Greeted warmly and seated immediately. We both had burgers and beer. No rush, server was very nice and we were able to linger and chat a bit after eating. great decor in the restaurant as well. Eat here; you'll love it.
I loved this place. Really cozy, hipster-esque decor, good music and not too loud. Perfect for casual dinner out with friends. Very large variety of burgers/chicken/vegetarian in some unique mix-ups (peanut butter bacon burger? Yes please!) Something for everyone to be sure! Will definitely be going back.
Reclaimed wood – check, filament lightbulbs – check, metal cages bolted onto random areas – check, beards – check. Yup it meets all of the pre-requisites for Glasgow’s “Burger Boulevard” (well, that’s what we like to call it anyway). With the opening of Five Guys and Gourmet Burger Kitchen next door to each other on near enough the same day, something needs to stand out, does Handmade Burger Co. do it?
