Excellent Korean BBQ and Hotpot restaurant. Pay per person then eat as much as you like. The food was excellent here. All meats were high quality so they were beautiful and juicy when BBQ on the grill and the hotpot stuff was also high quality. Everything you need to make up your sauce and unlimited drinks. Well worth a visit for a belly buster of a gobble.
Very nice Korean BBQ and hotpot restaurant.
The food is served as a buffet, which means once you've got your table you can choose 1-2 broths. You can also choose your drinks.
Then you go to the rich buffet bar and choose the dishes you want to grill or cook in the broth.
The selection is rich but mostly meat. In addition to vegetables and tofu, there are also dumplings.
There is also a choice of dessert.
The service is very friendly and attentive.
Overall, dining at this restaurant was a great experience.
Great hot pot & BBQ spot, but I do think it is pricey at £36.99 per person over the weekends. I felt like we didn’t really eat to that value of money, if that makes sense! However, it is a great hot pot spot in Glasgow. It also has a great way of reducing food waste by allowing you to shop your own food for both the hot pot & BBQ in a buffet style, instead of the tik boxes. Sometimes with places who have the tik boxes you get a full plate or whatever you’ve ticked, and you feel obligated to eat it. In the way Jay’s BBQ do it is much better for those wanting to try new things but don’t have the stomach to eat a full tray of it in fear of waste. Lovely staff, beautiful interior. Great variety too.
Had an amazing time at Jay’s! Such a great place to meet and hang out with friends over high quality food! The only reason why it’s -1 star is because we were told we had to leave so that the table could be cleaned and prepared for the next customers an hour into our 2hrs max stay.
Visited Jay's for lunch, it was our first time for all 4 of us...and we loved it food and service fantastic. It is simple, cook your food on a hot plate, dip into broth to ea, but the experience was great. All 4 of us agreed to go back again when in Glasgow.
Its the best hot-pot and Korean BBQ place in Glasgow hands down. Its located in a nice, quiet area of Glasgow near some bars and the atmosphere inside is really nice. The serving staff are attentive and the owner is funny, kind and very helpful. He offered many suggestions and complementary desert when I visited last and I swear, he was trying to feed me till I pop as I left feeling fuller and more satisfied than I've ever felt. Its a stand-out restaurant in Glasgow and if you like hot-pot and Korean BBQ you should make a point of visiting.
The staff were so kind and were helpful! Incredible selection of food (you should know how to cook it to be honest) it’s common sense, so the reviews on people complaining about needing instructions and having to cook it themselves are silly. The sauce station was my favourite mixing lots of new ingredients for exciting flavours. Can’t fault a thing, loved it all. If you are unsure, ask the staff were so attentive!
What a place!! An absolute gem 💎 huge selection of food to choose from
Food was amazing staff were friendly and answered any questions I had about the food preparation which helped massively
Can't recommend highly enough
You get both korean bbq and hotpot at your table. Then it's down to how much you can eat in 2 hours. Quality of food was great, as well as the service. Some of the beef here was incredible for the bbq also beer tongue. Highly recommend. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic, as this was our first time he helped us every step of the way.
Absolutely amazing restaurant, the food was amazing the staff friendly and welcoming. If want something a bit different go there and enjoy.
First time doing hotpot, Jay's Grill Bar provided a good experience with many side dishes and flavours to add to the hotpot.
Service was great and staff were always around when needed.
On the other side the table was a bit low and it was awkward sitting down (considering I'm over 6 foot). There wasn't much space at the table for plates.
Over all I did enjoy the food and it was fun making it yourself, while staff were kind and helpful.
Excellent Eaterie, all you can eat and boy did we eat. Great selection of BBQ meats and great seafood for hot pot. Anyone who has never tried this, should try here for an authentic experience.
Food and staff are juts amazing always welcomed and enjoyed going now been 4 times and never fails, coming back with friends with more empty tummys lol xxx

BEST hot pot and grill place! The staff are very knowledgeable and approachable! A good variety of halal options. Best place to go if you are new to hot pot and bbqs!
This place is great a love the broth and cooking it your self but please stop coming over and turning it off/on off/on
the place makes me feel like the days in China, love all the food, especially vegetable which you could only see in Chinese restaurant and spicy beef which is really amazing.
Love Rose Tea and kids love buns.
One of my favourite places to go, such variety in food and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Can literally order as much and whatever you want!
Only slight issue is the chairs are slightly too tall to sit at the tables comfortably if you are a taller person, but I'm enjoying the food so much I don't notice!
Go here once a month now as it's just so good.
Squid, prawns, crab are all to die for. And the custard buns are so fluffy!!
