Booked a table for 16 people to celebrate my 60th birthday, the service was exceptional and the food was amazing. I would have given 5 stars, but I only have one gripe, it may not be important to some, but to me it was. On placing drinks orders I was told the bar was out of my tipple, Southern Comfort. Shock horror! The staff hunted high and low but not a drop was to be found. Now I thought to myself, this restaurant is going to present me with a nice bill at the end of the evening and surely they would have a solution to my refreshment problem, especially as there was an off-licence round the corner! Take money from the till, ask a member of staff to go to the shop and buy a bottle! Simple! Happy customer! But alas this didn’t happen. I had to remain Southern Comfort-less for the evening. Granted, the Manager supplied a bottle of Prosecco, free of charge, but sadly this did not ‘comfort’ me. All in all, it was a surperb meal, in a lovely atmosphere, slightly marred by lack of common sense.
We enjoyed our dinner here, and wanted to try things we typically do not have. We started with the Chicken65, some poppodums, and the spicy pickled onions. We shared the mixed vegetable Bhoona and Chicken Malai, a side of Fried Okra crisps and Katchumbra salad. All flavorful and presented nicely. The staff was very attentive, and helpful with decisions if needed.
Authentic Indian food, great atmosphere, and the most lovely service staff. A little on the pricey side but it's great if you're celebrating something!
The food is Excellent.
Very quick service. Very hospitable staff.
Extremely Nice ambiance.
Best authentic Indian restaurant in Glasgow.
Overall good experience.
Best Indian in glasgow. Got to be one of the only Indian restaurants not to make all their sauces with bright red dyes etc. A little pricy but worth it.
First time at spice route 77 and to be perfectly honest, Indian food is not my thing. I can't complain about the food though, I tried most of the dishes I ordered but I just cant handle the spices and heat! The dishes without much heat were tasty. The staff were all lovely and helpful. This is a place you must try if you like Indian.
Best Indian restaurant in Glasgow! Giving 5 stars for their delicious food and excellent service. Cocktail options were great and great atmosphere.
I highly recommend the venue, the food was phenomenal. The service was second to none, friendly, professional, and welcoming.
The Pani puri was crisp, flavorful, moorish, and playful. The national street food of India
The spicy Calamari was crispy with a lovely dip.
The Paroka was moist and enjoyable.
The Chicken Malai Tikka was tender, moist, and scrumptious.
The Lamb Rogan Josh was the best I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and seasoned superbly.
Everyone had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
