Often enjoyed TransEurope for lunch and with the introduction of their themed bistro nights decided to enjoy a pre-theatre before attending the Tron.
Theme for April was France and the fixed menu was excellent. Highly recommended from our group was French Onion Soup, Coq Au Vin and Fish Stew accompanied by an delicious Malbec.
Very happy group just sorry didn't get the chance to enjoy the cheese board...next time.
Have always enjoyed the brunch here and the laid back atmosphere. Love the old bus seats! Owner's a great guy and always attentive. Favourite eat of mine is the full English breakfast.
My first trip back to this cafe - it was a favourite when I lived in Glasgow, so I went with high hopes. The cafe is much more minimalist than it used to be, couldn't see the board games that I used to enjoy playing or any of the retro tea and coffee sets.
Service was ok. Seeing as I was the only person in there it was slower than it should have been, probably as the chef was having a very loud, very angry conversation on the phone for pretty much the whole time I was there.
When the omlette did arrive it was exceptional. I had opted for cheese and bacon, it was one of the largest and most perfect omlettes I've seen. The chef may be angry, but he can sure cook an omlette.
