Four of us dined here last night.
The Restaurant was Full with a lively atmosphere. Daniel did a great job in looking after us.
We tried various dishes, starters of Chilli in breadcrumbs, fish Taco, mains of Chilli, Veg Fajitas, Spicy Chicken Fajitas. Deserts of ice cream. The food was fresh and tasted superb.
Washed down with 4 x Large glasses of wine, 2xJugs of Margarita, coffee....final Bill was £125
Excellent value.
The fact that this restaurant is small is what makes it so nice. Very intimate with friendly staff. The food is really good, try the meatball soup!
We did the early dinner menu and shared jalapeño croquettes and quesadillas as starters and fizzling chicken fajitas and cajun battered baja fish tacos as mains. The fajitas came with 3 wraps, and they very nicely supplied us with an extra one to make it even to share! For free! The service generally was very lovely and attentive.
The whole evening started with complimentary frozen lime margarita shots and nachos with salsa.
The atmosphere was nice. However, we were at the table close to the kitchen and toilets and a bit pressed into the wall. It's a small space, and we were happy that we managed to get a reservation at all a couple of days before our dinner :-)
The food is the reason it only got 4 stars. It was more than okay, but the battered fish in the tacos was not really crispy - a bit more on the soggy side. The quesadillas were a bit sparsely filled, for example.
Nevertheless, we would come back and enjoyed a nice evening!
