This is a fantastic little Italian restaurant with the Staff, Service and food all being exceptional!!. Staff are welcoming and the service is not rushed in this restaurant unlike some restaurants where they give you a time limit on the table and you feel rushed along for the night!!. The food is homemade and never disappoints from quality to portion size extremely good value for money can not recommend this restaurant enjoy!!.

Due to a booking error on our part, our visit was unexpected. Despite this, the family who own Massimo at The Buffalo Inn couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. One of our party was in a wheelchair and has extremely debilitating conditions. They showed understanding and did their best to help. The food was delicious. We were forewarned that there would be delays because the restaurant was was being run by one person (the son, aged 15). He did an excellent job and, frankly, the delays were not unreasonable. We had a lovely relaxed evening. I heartily recommend the Linguine Borgia. Since there is nothing perfect, the only slight criticism I would make - and it is meant constructively - is that the carpet needed the vacuum running over it.

We visited last night after looking for Italians close to our overnight stay outside of Ilfracombe. The reviews were good so we booked a table for the 5 of us. The venue is charming and attached to a very nice pub. It’s family run and the whole team were very welcoming and attentive. They didn’t have what I fancied on the menu but I asked if the chef could make it and he could! All of the food was excellent and I couldn’t recommend a visit highly enough!

My Husband booked a table for my Birthday today. It was our first visit to your amazing Restaurant. The service was exemplary by the owners 2 Sons and the food was excellent. An extensive menu, lots of choice and all beautifully cooked. We can't wait to tell our family and friends about this place and will be visiting again soon.
