Thursday early evening meal for family of 7. Wonderful service and great pub menu. All meals were extremely good (especially the mixed grill where all components were cooked to perfection) Thank you 😊

Great food; a choice of well kept, reasonably priced ales including a guest and staff who are all very welcoming. A locals' boozer owned by a national brewery (Greene King) is a rarity. Just a shame I don't live close enough to make it my regular haunt. This pub deserves to buck the trend and succeed for the effort all the staff put in to making customers feel part of this pub's community. Keep up the good work.

A very nice Pub with good food & drink. The staff are nice, friendly & courteous. Went there for an 80's themed music night hosted by a DJ back in February 2023 & it was a really good night out, Been there several times since then & if your looking for a nice pub to go to for a drink & or a meal during the day time or evening I can recommend this pub.

I've had a meal here several times and overall the meals are well proportioned, tasty and good value for money. Staff are friendly and pleasant and on my recent visit bent over backward to accommodate our group of 16 people with various dietary requirements even when they'd had staffing difficulties within the kitchen area. Well done to the all the staff on this particular day 👏 I will agree with another review about the cocktails, did taste a bit watery, there was an ingredient that was missing which would have made it much more tasty however they don't stock it. I've only ever gone for a meal therefore haven't sat in the bar area, but walking through it's got a good atmosphere and seem to cater for everyone. Dartboard area, fruit machines and large TVs for sport fans. There is a garden area out the back and smoking area. Car park is ample but there is also plenty of room on the street if carpark was full.

Returned recently and had a wonderful Sunday Lunch. A very much a happy family pub with dog friendly attitude. Sunday lunch was very good along with a good bottle of chilled Californian zinfadel wine. Good selection of beer and drinks with friendly staff. Large garden with plenty of parking. I like the name of this pub but never saw any flying saucers, but maybe we did......

When we got here I thought it was going to be a local pub for local people, and it is but in a good way! The staff were lovely and we were clearly welcome and the whole place was very clean and fresh. The halloumi and chips was very nice and the portion size perfect for lunch. The chickpea curry was a little lackluster but still nice. Well worth a visit.
