The food is really good here and quite reasonably priced. The chips are amazing!!! The only thing I’m not keen on is having to go to the bar to get your drinks. The bar is always really busy. Most restaurants take drinks orders. The music can be a little too loud, but to be fair, the staff are very friendly and happy to turn it down. The staff are really lovely.

I haven't stayed here personally but ate in the restaurant with my father during his stay. The food was really delicious and good size portion! Great value too! My father said that the rooms were a good size and well looked after. This place is a great value for money with nice rooms and excellent restaurant/bar below. Definitely worth a stay!

Excellent hotel, rooms basic but excellent accommodation. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent and plentiful. Sadly, I wasn't able to eat it all! Stunning location close to the Angel of the North! Good bus service into Newcastle and Gateshead! Well worth a visit!!
