I hadn't been here since this changed from Last Days of the Raj which I had stopped going to after we had food poisoning. However, the change, after 1 visit seems to be good. At least as far as the takeaway I had. The claim to not serve oily food was well founded for the dish I tried, though it wasn't quite as tasty as some other places I know, I will definitely be returning to try again.

The best Indian we've had for a very long time! Great mix of vegetarian dishes each with individual flavours. Can't recommend highly enough.

If you want to go to an authentic Indian restaurant with a wow factor then this is the ideal place. Sumptuous food, classy looks and ambience, amazing service to sum it all. Something not to be missed in Newcastle.
