Nothing better than home cooked food... I had breast of chicken hand made chips peas and peppercorn sauce, it was delicious 😋 👌. All too often when you eat out these days you'll find that the food is usually frozen or pre made. I was pleasantly surprised with this quality of food and very reasonable priced too. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.

What a wonderful little gem this place is. Just left and couldn’t wait to write my review! Open fire, nice decor, lovely and clean. We’ve been all over the world and have never come across a place where every single member off staff are not only welcoming but genuinely nice, chatty to customers and happy to be so. Shout out to Ashleigh- what a star! Said good evening and chatting to us before we even went inside! Laura and Lexi- plus the young man ( sorry I forgot your name) who were all fab! Service 5* Food 5* ambiance 5* Staff well what can I say- 100*. I would make this my local if we didn’t live over 2 hours away. Thank you all again for being so lovely- you made our weekend away! Tracy & Steve - the Yorkshires!

We have just had the most amazing steak with chips peppercorn sauce , Steak n Ale Pie .. wow value for money , and cooked to perfection, staff are friendly, just top notch this place . Proper home cooked food Thanks
