Nice place on the first floor to go for lunch or coffee/tea - on the grand floor is a shop with limited but nicely displayed products.
Reasonable priced ( 2 chocolate cakes and 2 coffees - below £ 10.00).
Nice décor, nice view, not too many people and tables - fantastic for me.
Excellent service.
Cons: Member of Staff when preparing meals/making sandwiches not using gloves what can be disadvantage for some people during Covid pandemic panic.
I love this place. It’s got a lovely gift shop on the ground floor (not a lot to see there but lovely stuff nonetheless), and on the first floor there is a beautifully laid out tearoom. It’s really pretty, with a grand piano in it and a faux cherry blossom tree in the centre, very pretty! The prices are not bad for a coffee shop, and there is a nice range of cakes and rolls and soups and such for breakfast or lunch. Downfall is last I knew there was no wifi, but other than that a nice place to go.
Gorgeous coffee shop! Best Flat White coffee I have ever had and highly recommend the pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup. Service was fantastic, really friendly and welcoming. Excellent menu with lots of choices. Our new favourite place.
