We was on a day trip from Edinburgh to Loch ness and back through the cainggorns national park, we stop in the village we decided not to go a cruise on the Loch as wanted to look around and stopped at the fish and chip shop. Also we went down to the point to see the Loch and took some photos .

I was a little hesitant to go here given the reviews but I'm glad we did! This was the best fish and chips we had during our entire stay in Scotland! Everything was made fresh and to order, the gentleman serving us was friendly (and even apologetic about how long it took since we were behind a big family order). We enjoyed a table canal side which made for a fantastic evening as the sun set.

Stopped here before Loch Ness Cruise. Best fish & chips I’ve had. He cooks on the spot so it’s super fresh. Would love to return in the future.
