Absolutely amazing, the venue is stunning and the food was spot on. One of the best Indian restaurant I've visited. The service was friendly and professional and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place and will 100% return when I'm down these ways again. Very nice experience 👍🏻
Lovely setting in a couple of old thatched cottages. Food was good, the service a little slow but to be fair we thought that was due to the current restrictions. We all enjoyed everything that we ate and drank and thats the main thing. 👍🏻🍻
This is easy walking distance for us, so we go there relatively frequently.
Right from our first visit, the welcome has always been warm and courteous. The ambience is unusual for an Indian restaurant in the UK, but is conducive to a good meal out, either in a group or just a couple.
In our experience, the food is exceptionally good. It is obviously prepared fresh, and the chefs manage to infuse it with spice combinations that enhance, not overpower, the taste of even delicate-tasting food. If anything, the spices used enhance the freshness of the food. And, as we usually end up with a "doggy bag", I can confirm that the food is still good when eaten cold the next day!
The service is attentive and courteous without being pushy. The food is not the cheapest, but the prices are very good when you consider its quality.
If I was to make a complaint, it is that we enjoy the starter and main course so much that we rarely have room for a dessert!
