What a fine!. What a brilliant find after a long drive up the M5, would recommend this pub 100%, check out there website for there current specials and menu or better still just call in and treat yourself to what has to be the best pub meal I've had in a long time.
Gem of a place.. We were looking for a place to have Sunday lunch, convenient for our daughter and son in law, travelling from Gloucester and for ourselves from South Staffs. The table was booked for midday. After settling with our drinks my husband and I decided to try out the carvery, whilst lasagne, salad and garlic bread was the others' choice. The timing of our meals could have been an issue but it definitely wasn't!! The quantities were just right. All the food was hot and without exception the quality was great! (The sweet tooths of the group opted to share the chocolate orange gateau - and we weren't disappointed!) A good value for money Sunday lunch, ideally located for both generations,(at a place where all the staff are pleasant and helpful, which is always a bonus) so we look forward to our next visit!
A REAL GEM OF A PUB. We visit this pub regularly with the family.
We have NEVER sampled bad food here. The pub is warm, comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.
There is now a new menu which is extensive and reasonably priced. The specials board is always full of fresh fish and some unusual meat dishes.
The chef presents attractive food that is always tasty. In my opinion, you won't find a more traditional pub serving home cooked food, The White Hart is good value for money and you certainly leave feeling full and satisfied.
We love it here!!!!
