3 of us came in yesterday to watch football and grab some food before the DJ evening later, we have subscribed to email offers and had a voucher for 25% off meals. We ordered the Doombar Steak & Ale Pie with chips & peas , Steak and Chicken Combo & the Maple Jerk chicken with chips instead of sweet potato fries . All 3 meals were generous portions, really tasty and every element of the meals was cooked to perfection - even the peas , you couldn't fault it. Definitely the best meal we have had in the Roy so far :-)
First time in here tonight - what a lovely pub. The DJ was the BEST -what a selection of music - will definitely revisit with a group of friends thank you staff and Mr DJ Blue you gave me hope that there are some down to earth decent local pubs around
Friendly staff, good cheap food, a decent pint and football on TV. Excellent..
