Had a great meal. Being a greene king, we didn't expect too much but were pleasantly surprised. The food was lovely, staff were friendly and the manager was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend
Amazing atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant prices and food was fast out and very tasty. Happy all round and would argue this is the best pub in the area!
Bonus is drinks are amazing prices too, good deals on shots too, haven’t seen prices like it anywhere else!

Food was very tasty and came in a reasonable time. The seating area was very clean. Only moan was it took ages to get served at the bar as there was only 1 person serving. However more than made up for by the quality and choice of the food.
We all had a great night in the Red Lion, super atmosphere, great food, awesome selection behind the bar. The food was very well cooked and presented, an served in a timely manner. They all looked after us (all 20 of us) very well indeed. We really can't recommend this venue any higher.

We came here for my birthday celebration last night with 20+ friends. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was quiz night and we had an absolute blast and came 2nd. I would highly recommend this pub to everyone, and we shall be coming back on a regular basis.

Had lunch today with my husband and son.
Food was very good and very reasonably priced, staff very helpful and attentive. Was told we would have to wait half an hour for food as it was very busy, but it actually come 15 minutes later, all piping hot and delicious.
Would throughly recommend and look forward to our return
The food and service were great, clearly staff like working there. Avoid Tuesdays if you're disabled as there is a quiz and non disabled drivers park their cars where they like stopping disabled drivers to abanden their visit
We didn't dine on this occasion . We called in for a drink. The staff were very welcoming. The atmosphere was good and the beers very good.
Heard about the Red Lion Stubbington being taken over by a new couple and thought i would re-attempt the experience.
Popped over during the day - between 1pm and stayed till about 3pm.
Ordered Madri from the bar - excellent price and a very good pint.
Ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry - Arrived promptly. and was so tasty. One of the better meals i have had from a Greene King and actually tased as if it was prepared fresh and personally.
In terms of service, there was a young woman on the bar who was actively cleaning and serving drinks and i was introduced to the landlord - Richard - whom was engaging, chatty, active and friendly. He told me what the plans were for live music, bar games and a potential new menu coming in the next few months and to say i left happy was an understatement. I will be revisiting soon and i hope that all the locals that have wondered from the venue recently - give it another go and head back to see the team.
