Just finished having lunch at The Buccaneer and had a lovely time.
The food was delicious and service was brilliant. Our waitress Monika was amazing, so friendly and welcoming, very attentive and excellent with kids.
Possibly the best waitress there, well we think so anyway.
I have been in this place twice, on first visit I’ve been served by Paul. In both visits, food was excellent but this week I missed Paul’s character. Unfortunately, he’s on holiday.
Estive neste lugar duas vezes, fui servido pelo Paul na primeira vez. Em ambas ocasiões, comida estava boa mas Paul não estava presente, ele é uma figura. Infelizmente, ele está de férias.
Char our waitress was amazing!
We dined with a friend who has a severe fish allergy, she guided her through what to avoid and what was safe, and went above and beyond.
She left before we finished our meal but did a good handover to a colleague and could hear her saying we had a fish allergy to be mindful of.
It is rare to have such good service and especially with allergies involved, we have been for many meals in other places which are way below standards in regards to allergies. Thank you all so much .
Harry and Anne were very attentive. Sad to hear the unlimited breakfast is no more but the ultimate was ample, so all good. Anne looked absolutely fabulous in her bat costume 😍
Absolutely incredible experience. We had a disabled family member with us, and they had accessible parking spaces which was lovely. We were greeted kindly with no wait or funny looks to our disabled member, and led straight to our table. The lady we were served by was so kind, and made sure we were happy with everything. Another family member wanted a flat bread that was only made until 5pm, so she was fine with a burger, but the waitress told her they would make her the flatbread! We thought this was so kind as in other restaurants we’ve been told no without any hesitation. She also acknowledged out disabled member and didn’t act like she was invisible. The food is incredibly tasty with a wide variety, as well as an excellent salad bar. Only tiny complaint was the amount of screaming toddlers, however this isn’t down to the restaurant themselves. Incredible, will be returning.
Went on a Wednesday night and it was very busy! Food took a good 30 mins after ordering to arrive at our table. Food was nice and the salad bar was shocked. No air conditioning so very hot and humid in building. Overall happy with my visit
This was a rare treat for us, to be able to take my elderly mum out for dinner. We turned up without having booked. We were greeted and warmly welcomed by Char, who was so lovely and accommodating and promptly found us a table. Shortly after, checked in with us for drinks and if we were ready to order. Her service was impeccable. We order and just started to enjoy our salad bowl, beautifully presented, and very tasty, when unfortunately, the fire alarm sounded and we were all evacuated.
All the staff were very professional, calm and knew exactly what to do and how to react and everything was handled extremely professionally. We will definitely be returning, for the staff, especially Char, and the ambience and great salad bar. Can't wait to taste the food that I ordered hence why I could only give a 3* for food, but what I saw looked delicious.
Always a positive experience, and the staff are simply fantastic! Have been before and will go again!!!
On this occasion 03/11/23 - Waitress Leleanna was fantastic. Really lovely and made time for each customer.
Having major works on our house has left us without a kitchen, so having the facility to go and have a lovely cooked breakfast served by a lovely server is a must at the moment..
the food is always great here wether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner
Highly recommended
Maddy was our waitress and she was absolutely fabulous. Brought a great bit of sass to our evening too which was well received! 🥰 Our steaks were cooked perfectly too. 10/10 experience and best service I've had in a while
My favourite Harvester of all Harvesters.
We were complete piglets: we had an evening meal, and then went back for breakfast the next day. The breakfast was more for practical reasons, to be honest, but well worth it.
The same young lady greeted us on both occasions, which made me wonder if she actually lived there, but she assured us that she had a home to go to.
Both meals were fantastic. Staff seem to get on really well with each other, and they were genuinely nice people. All of them.
The manager Lady was very nice, too.
The food was nice, too.
Thank you, we won't forget this Harvester in a hurry.
(We were the ones the elderly gentleman joined for a cup of tea.)
Leleana (sorry if I spelt wrong) is a brilliant waitress. She was refreshing, friendly and had a laugh with us. So much fun. It was natural not forced. Service was quick and she was on the ball. She made our experience great. Glad you do plain chicken for simple as I have been to some where they don't which really annoys me
