We called here on our way to the Broads and were very pleased that we did. It is a lovely old building, tucked away but fairly easy to find.
The menu is really extensive and the food itself was really good quality, well presented, and the portions were generous.
The young lady who served us was lovely, she was pleasant and helpful.
What a super place and would thoroughly recommend it.
Although wisteria tea room is tucked away it is well worth going to. Not just in may, to see the absolutely stunning wisteria but the selection of cakes is very good. I had homemade rhubarb and custard cake, it was delicious. The rhubarb was even organically grown by the owner. The coffee is possible the best I have had and can thoroughly recommend visiting here.
Pretty good - vegan and gluten-free options available, which is a bit rare for Fakenham. Slightly quirky system in that it seems you're supposed to order at the front and pay as you leave but otherwise it's table service. Friendly service.
