This is a great family pub with unbelievable service I had family from abroad that wanted to eat British food And the staff went out of there way to make it special for us ! All fresh food ,tv, high chair and all the meals came out at the same time for 9 people Really really good I have eaten in a lot of places in Exeter for alot more money and im telling you this is one of the best British pub lunches I have eaten in Exeter ������ Thank you clifton Inn

Can't fault this place! Delicious food, all homemade, great atmosphere and friendly and attentive staff! There are two pool tables as well which are very well maintained compared to most. I'm a regular visitor to this pub and would definitely recommend it to others!

The Clifton inn is a very friendly and welcoming place to eat and drink in our short time in Exeter we've eaten here a few times we've been served really quickly and the food is always excellent and you get a proper plate full too also you can have a laugh with the down to earth staff who can't do enough for you
