Wxcellent service from all departments. Dinner was divine and there is a wine list and whiskey list like I have never seen at such a small property. The spa/pool/fitness room were very busy at the weekend with people on spa days, no locker available and no louners by pool. Perhaps add some more of thise when hotel is full and soa days heavily booked. Peaceful tiny village with the nice addition of eating and drinking at the Acirn Inn (also a Red Carnation property) which gad a good mix of locals and hotel guests there. Pieter the valer deserves special mention as there was not the expected DVD player in our toom, he offered to bring his own from his own accommodation. Would definately add to my 'return to' list. The eggs benedict was second only to the one I had at the lovely Gran Hotel Son Net in Mallorca. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Another excellent lunch at that culinary paradise tucked away in rural West Dorset. Far from the madding crowd, literally as this place used to belong to Thomas Hardye. The staff here never put a foot wrong. Service, cuisine, and ambiance all impeccable. I am a picky person by nature and I can't fault this place. When the time comes I will settle for a burial plot on the croquet lawn. Special mention to Maxime for charming and supremely discrete service. Why go for an over-priced pub lunch when you can come here ?

Absolutely fantastic place, staff there were lovely and welcoming. Three day relaxing honeymoon there is no better place. Lovely rooms, tasty food, excellent service and a spa on top. My wife and I had a wonderful time many thanks
