The old moat garden centre is one of my very favourite places. You have a garden part, the shop and the café � Everyone is amazingly friendly, dogs are allowed and I can't recommend this place enough for it is also a great charity which supports mental health �� Love it �

We come to The Old Moat about 2-3 times a week & we love it! The staff are always so friendly & welcoming and the food in the cafe is lovely. The added bonus is that they are 'dog friendly'....our 3 hounds starting whining as soon as we drive in as they know they always get a treat and a warm reception. It has such community feel there and I would highly recommend it to anyone

I love going to The Moat . It has a personal touch & the staff are really friendly . The food is very good & the coffee too !! The cakes are delicious !! My grandchildren love to cycle there across the common . I do take my dog occasionally as dogs are welcome but being a rather large German Shepherd we choose to sit in the outside covered area where there is plenty of room . We are already planning our next visit as we love the wonderful selection of plants etc , and the shop has an excellent selection of gifts for all occasions. �
