Love our visits here! We last visited on a Saturday in the middle of October and got to see the Halloween displays, plus the Chistmas displays. Stayed for lunch, which was lovely, although it was as expensive, as most garden centres are. I'm going back for some gifts when I don't have the children with me!
Tasty and filling roast lunch and loads to see in the Christmas sections. Well worth a visit. Puts many other places to shame.
Second visit actually to this great garden centre. Firstly, I would say the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. This was invaluable given we have just started on our outdoor plant journey so the advice and time I was given in terms of plants suitable for our space and the appropriate pots to go with was incredibly helpful.
The outdoor section is very well stocked and well-cared for, which would seem obvious, however compared to the supermarket offerings which look half dead, its worth the extra ££ you pay here.
We spent £200 for 10 outside plants and 1 very 'live' looking inside fake one. That was plants only on this visit. We already had the pots.
Inside, is a little Aladdins cave with loads of additional garden accessories to enhance your space as well as all the equipment needed.
A large section of garden furniture laid out for show as if in your garden.
They also have a great little foodie section full of sauces, chutneys, pickles, etc, oh and a variety of wines and beers!.
The café looked really spacious, modern and comfortable. Not for me personally (I'd rather drop into the pub) however I'm sure great for convenience.
My only slight irritation was lack of tills and staff manning them given the foot flow and size of the centre.
Location wise it's really close to us, so convenient, however means I cannot compare to any others right now.
I would happily recommend this centre.
