Heard about Nigerian Fanta so had to try it, it's very good. Lives up to the social media hype.
I had the rice and goat meat. The food was good, homely. For anyone who wonders if it'll be too spicy it's not too hot and the spice flavour is more smokey than anything.
I think what drags the place down a little is the decor and atmosphere. The chairs and tables give off a high end vibe but cutlery is pub style on the table - the anagram plates have an American grill style about them and the printed laminated menus feel very informal.
None of this is bad but I feel like the tone is holding this place back from reaching its full potential. Even so the food was great, the staff were friendly and I wish them the best going forward!
We just wanted dinner, but we got the whole Naija experience! Trust me!!
We had so much fun, we came back the next day, and ordered enough for the trip back!
Delicious food, Great music, Lots of laughter, warm and personalised service❤️!
The overall ambience was just the perfect icing to an amazing holiday in Edinburgh!
Kome's smile and friendliness was refreshing, and on meeting John, I can tell Uwagboe's kitchen is headed for greatness!
Where do I start🤣? We tried half the menu!!!
I think the greatest attribute was that it didn't matter what we ate, the seasoning was on point!
The levels of spice took me back to Friday night Lagos joints vibes....yum-yum😋
The before and after pictures tell it all👍🏽🤝🏽
When it was time to unbox my orders back home, I wanted to cry! My Asun!!!😭😭😭
I called them & they apologized and refunded the shortfall😋
In all, it's definitely on my list of favorite places to eat!!!
Very neat, customer service is top-notch. It is very easy to find. The meal tastes very fresh and perfect for Nigerian dishes. The ambience is overwhelming. I returned for dinner after an amazing lunch. I highly recommend this place for anyone planning on tasting local Nigerian dishes..
