I was really pleased with Crolla’s. They keep things simple and focus on executing things to a consistently high standard
I have become a full-fledged Crolla's patron in the last couple of weeks. Conveniently located right round the corner from my office, it serves a range of freshly made sandwiches, soups and salads at amazing prices. Its quite small and appears to be run by a husband and wife team with the husband making the sandwiches. Crolla's can get pretty full around lunchtime on a weekday and after having eaten their a few times now I'm not surprised in the slightest.
I have had a selection of the hot sandwiches, salads and soups and never been disappointed. The bread is always freshly made and you can always opt for brown or white, the ingredients including the veggies are always crispy and flavorsome and evidently freshly bought and the service always comes with a smile.
I would definitely encourage any workers in New Town looking for a chain alternative to give Crolla's a try.
Great breakfast sandwich. The bread is delicious. Very fresh. Loved the runny eggs on my sandwich.
I do have to say, They do need mustard, I like mustard on my sandwich , but apparently it's not a thing here.
Good hot coffee.
Good for a quick bite. Breakfast for 2 with large coffee and large cappuccino. 16£
