Came here for a few drinks and possibly a bite to eat. The barmaids (Caroline and Megan) were lovely and really patience when taking forever to decide what we wanted to eat, after deciding we were going to stay. Did not pressure and knew when to come up to ask what we wanted to order.
Really friendly staff towards everyone and a lovely atmosphere.

Hamiltons is what I would call my local. I’m not a regular but have frequented the place a few times over the past few years. It’s located in a very handy spot just opposite the bus stop on Hamilton Place and is a stone’s throw away from the very popular and busy Sunday Stockbridge Market. It benefits from high footfall and the flurry of tourists and locals alike that like to meander through the pretty streets of Stockbridge.

After walking to Dean Village, my boyfriend and I decided to have lunch in Stockbridge. We had never been to Hamilton's but we were tempted in by the menu.
It's quite big inside and has a good selection of seating, from big tables with comfy sofas or smaller, more formal tables; this means that it is ideal for all occasions. We chose a comfy seat and spent the next few minutes debating what to pick from the many tasting sounding items on the menu!
Finally, I decided to go with the corn chips and Sam went for the steak ciabatta. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to come, but we enjoyed the view out of the large windows whilst we waited. My corn chips were a huge portion and were covered in jalapeños, salsa, smashed avocado and sour cream, as well as chicken. The flavours were great, especially the chicken and smashed avocado - I was very happy with my choice! Sam loved his steak ciabatta and twice cooked chips; I had a taste and it was delicious, the steak was cooked perfectly.
I'll definitely go back to Hamilton's as they have so many appealing items on their menu and I loved the relaxed feel inside. They also have a great drinks menu that I would love to try.
