We stopped in here while visiting Edinburgh. We had our 4 year old with us, and the servers very promptly yet very pleasantly ensured that we were aware of Scotland's laws regarding children in drinking establishments (which we were). We ordered some food, had a few beers, then set out before the curfew hour (10 PM). It's a great pub with a great vibe, yet easily laid back enough for a family meal. Highly recommend!
I went here with my mum for lunch recently and its a hidden gem. We both really enjoyed our food and the portion sizes were really generous. We both had full meals and a drink each for about £15 which is a total bargain when you seen how much food we got for our money. I was too full for dinner!
Classic boozer, epic pint of Guinness and they also have a million whiskies which is impressive… real nice Bloody Mary’s and pub food too, highlights include bangers and mash that has the best onion gravy and comes in a boat looks like cartoon food 🤞🙏 lots of white people but the vibe did not feel unwelcome 👍
