Lovely setting for a stay over. A small group of us came up to walk the hills. Shared a twin room which was a bit small but perfectly functional, clean and well appointed.
Bar and restaurant were great. Wide selection of food and beers. Would thoroughly recommend it.
Obviously extremely busy because it was a sunny day so table space was at a premium and queues at the bar inevitable but this is a perfectly situated pub to start or end a walk with good food and good beer. They've got plenty of friendly competent staff serving, it's just a victim of its own success. Always our first and last pub on a visit to Edale
Out of the 2 pubs in the village this has always been our favourite.
Perfectly located for any stay in Edale, lovely choice of Ales and beers, standard pub grub at a reasonable price.
Efficient and friendly staff.
Feel like your in a different world when your in the beer garden on a warm summers evening, stunning scenery.
Something to note, gets extremely busy around early evening for food, expect a sizeable wait if dining.
