An absolutely delightful traditional pub with super friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for me and my family. A lovely little toy area which kept my 5 year old occupied who also managed to find some toys for my 9 month old. We went in really to feed my baby and have a warm drink but after looking at the menu decided we just had to eat there as the menu sounded delicious and we weren’t disappointed. I had chilli con carne with orzo pasta which was so tasty, very rustic and a decent portion size. My mum had fish and chips which came with peas and tartare sauce. Mum was delighted with her meal, the fish was enormous and freshly cooked and the chips were home made chunky chips, in my opinion, the best chips! And finally my 5 year old had a children’s burger and chips which again was homemade and delicious, obviously I had to taste to make sure it was ok ;). I would definitely recommend this pub and we are new to the area so am so happy to have found such a little gem of a pub. In fact, we’re going back this Sunday for a roast dinner and can’t wait.
We had a lovely meal at the three horse shoes last Friday. I had the fish pie which was delicious. We always go there if we want something a little bit more special than the usually pub grub! Lovely friendly atmosphere as well. Highly recommend the three horse shoes .
We had Sunday lunch, the food was amazing, perfectly cooked, piping hot, the gravy was very tasty, definitely be visiting again now that I know we can get a decent meal on our doorstep
