The best fish and chips. Large flakes of pearly white cod and lovely crispy batter is consistently excellent. Simon the manager is always really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The journey in from Forest Row is well worth the effort

What an incredible man that took my order today at 5.20 pm. He was like a human computer! I'm guessing it was his wife who was cooking behind the scenes. She was incredible too, thank you "Mrs"! I was very kindly given a pen - without asking - to write on each serving as it was a big order, (what a God send) and the curry sauce I'd requested was given to me free 😀 The food was really good. Thank you Taylors Fish Bar. I will be back.

Recently changed owners, but still really good service and food. If anything, the chips are now even better, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside.
