My wife & I were passing by yesterday, saw it was busy so popped in for lunch without a reservation. Richard the owner/manager was very accommodating and showed us to a table at the back of the restaurant and proceeded to run through the menus including the Sunday specials. Our drinks order was taken not long after and as well as these when they were delivered we also got a bottle of water. Laura ordered the beef � with extra cheese cooked medium and I had the special wild boar and venison burger. When you see a busy restaurant you understand that you may have to wait that bit longer especially as food is being cooked fresh to order. Our burgers arrived and there was a couple of issues with the beef burger, not cooked medium and no cheese as requested. The waiting staff offered to take the � back to the kitchen and add the missing cheese. The slate the special � I had was far too small for the size of the bagel it was in. It did make quite a mess on the table. Fair play to all the staff they were wiling to accept our feedback willingly. Richard was a most gracious host and refunded the beef burger and appreciated our feedback. It is refreshing to visit an establishment that wants to get it right and not pay lip service to their customers. We can't recommend The Riverside enough and will definitely be back.

We were made most welcome when we arrived unannounced yesterday for a late lunch , 3 of us and a rather large dog. Staff made Zero our dog feel so at home . terrific staff would recommend this place as a must visit . Great selection of beers on tap and grub was great. Lovely experience as always.

We have had two wonderful meals here at Riverside while staying in Dunblane and visiting Edinburgh and surrounding area. We had dinner one evening and Afternoon Tea on another day. Ms. Emma was so friendly and helpful! The only place in my travels throughout Europe, U.S. and China that makes better scones than I do.� Definitely a place to recommend!
