It was our first visit at The Creel in Dunbar and we were delighted by the fine food there. I had the Seasonal Asparagus wrapped in Parma Ham which was fresh and delicious. I followed this up with the Pork Belly in gravy with mash and carrots, this was mouth watering and just melted away in the mouth. The service was friendly and speedy with excellent wine choices. The atmosphere was quite intimate also helped by the historic surroundings of the dining area. If you are in East Lothian a stop at The Creel in Dunbar is highly recommended

Excellent food off the main menu particularly the sea trout, the special of monkfish wrapped with Parma ham was a tad dry though. We tried most of the starters and the monkfish was our favourite. Service was great too and fairly fast, helped by there only being a couple tables (would definitely book). The dining room was historic and charming apart from the jug to catch a leak and the two wine fridges and chargers with bright lights which made it feel a bit cramped. Would recommend highly in the area.

Lovely place!! Our party of six all had six different mains and they were all delicious! Seriously. Amazing. Food! The service was amazing and friendly! Intimate atmosphere and good vibes all round. Definitely worth the price, would recommend! (Couldn’t wait to take photos before we tucked in!)
