Fast, friendly service, good value for quality produce. Great stop for a quick lunch. Only real downside is that they regularly run out of key ingredients, particularly hot things such as the meatball marinara. My last 3 visits, I have been told that I cannot have either subs of the day or meatballs when I have ordered which can be disappointing, however cannot be helped. Seating is available, however limited and not wheelchair friendly. But this is only due to the size of the property and the space available. But I would definitely recommend this as a place to take away from.
I particularly like the idea of getting half a sub, 6 inches of top quality eating. The choices on offer are exceptional, 5 or 6 kinds of bread, toasted or not, cheese 🧀? all the salad 🥗 items to choose from. Cleanliness is always spot on, staff friendly and helpful, this true in all the ones in the region namely Dumfries, Annan and Gretna. This review is dedicated to Dumfries where it is quite small and you can only sit at a breakfast bar set up, no good for wheelchair ♿ users although you can roll in from the street. The door is left open a lot, good in summer but can be draughty and a bit chilly with a breeze and can bring in smells of cigarette smoke.
