This was a solid station to both arrive and depart at, with appropriate sized platforms for the trains! The design is neat, departure boards were up-to-date and the station sign is clear. It is easy accessible from the street and cleanliness had been maintained too!
Excellent Clean Station, well looked after, it has covered seating area sheltered away from the weather elements / rain / Snow etc & a seating room as well is a big plus.
Other facilities ( a small cafe shop , phone booth, toilet , ticket office and ticket vending machines) Accessibility and mobility access is fairly easy.
Billboard information service is clear and accurate for train arrival and departure timetables and you can also use the Scots Rail app on your phone.
Like most of the Stations on the West Coast Route and property of Network Rail, Dumbarton Central has it's good/bad points. . .🤔👌🏻👍🏻
