I discovered the Trout lnn by a lucky chance after taking a wrong turning on an unfamiliar road, and I am glad I did. There is a wide range of beers, lager and cider, including four hand-pulled cask conditioned, real ales. The real ale was in excellent condition when I called in. There are very few pubs outside of a town that have a choice as good as this. The pub has just undergone an extensive refurbishment to a very high standard. There is a large bar room on the left of the pub, a cosy room on the other side of the pub, and a separate dining room, which is still being decorated. They will be serving meals in the next few weeks. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the pub is dog friendly. I will definitely be back, looking forward to trying the food. Highly recommended.
This is a wonderful family village pub soon to have a restaurant too which we cannot wait for. Children allowed in and our little dog too! The staff are so lovely and the drinks are so reasonable in price it's an easily affordable local village pub. We spent new years eve here and the atmosphere was a wonderful experience. 1st Sunday lunch. What fantastic staff and an amazing meal for mum in law birthday, couldn't be better! We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks especially to Charlie and Hannah. We will be returning. Prices were really good. Highly recommended. Thanks for such a great time.
