We noticed this place from driving past stating about their pies. Went for dinner today and I must admit they didn't disappoint. Car park was a little busy but there's a farm shop right next to it and most seemed to be visiting there. There were two disabled parking bays. The front door opens wide enough for a wheelchair. As you go through there's two doors to each side. The left to the bar and right for food. We went right. The door was tight to fit the wheelchair through. A larger one would probably not fit. Plenty of seating inside. Staff were very polite and helpful. Bar service or table service is available. Meals were delivered quickly to us and we're piping hot and so delicious. The pies truly are amazing. Will definitely have to go back soon.
Called in on a Tuesday during the school holidays after visiting a local national trust site. Bar was full, but the restaurant and conservatory still had seats for the 3+1 of us. A high chair was brought over for the baby. We had the steak and tuna subs and the children's sausages. we didn't have to wait long at all for the food to arrive. Real quality ingredients, the bread for the subs was so good! I read about the world famous pies so I popped into the adjacent farm shop and purchased 3 varieties which have blown us away! Fantastic place, fantastic food, fantastic staff.
Food was brill quality food at a good price nice service
