As the owner of the cafe which opened 7 months ago I would be the first to admit we have made mistakes in our service, like any other business, and we hopefully learn from them. What I find interesting since opening is the disproportionate number of negative comments from "tour guides". The self proclaimed experts on everything Scottish, Highland and culinary. For many it is a bit like a protection racket with "visits" to collect cake and savouries due. So in summary, yes we do make mistakes and accept our public dressing down in forums such as these ... but next time you see a review from a "tour guide" just check their previous feedback and ratings before putting too much faith in their comments.
First visit during our holiday this year, lovely coffee & I had a lovely home made custard cream & my hubby had the carrot cake which was delicious particularly the cream cheese frosting! They have a dog friendly garden outside so next year will definitely take our dog along next time if the weather is good 🐶
Funny mixed place, interior is modern and classic at the same time. Coffee GOOD and homemade food. Definetly need to go and taste.
